24 Halsted Street - Newton - New Jersey - 07860 - (973) 383-1985
Our Food Pantry is open on MONDAYS from 10:00am-12:00pm and is NOW located to the right of the church (the former Parish Center Office) at 24 Halsted Street in Newton.
Each week, our team at the food pantry welcomes all people who are in need of food or personal items. We also welcome anyone who wishes to donate food. Father ST has asked every parishioner (no matter their age) to bring at least one can or box of food to church each week and leave it in the vestibule of the church (on the right). Food donations are also accepted any time at the Parish Center Office during offices hours (Monday-Thursday 9:00am-5:00pm and Friday from 9:00am-12:00pm).
In answer to the Lord's command to: "Feed the poor and give drink to the thirsty" (Matthew 25:35), we welcome you to become part of this very important ministry in our local church here in Newton.
Pray for all our military, police officers, fire fighters, correction officers, dispatchers, EMS/Rescue personnel and all those who serve & protect us.
Our thrift shop is located at 17 Halsted Street (the tan building to the left of the school). We are open on: Thursdays and Fridays from 10:00am-4:00pm and on Saturdays from 9:30am-2:00pm.
HOW CAN YOU DONATE? You may come and drop off your gently used clothing, shoes, pocketbooks, belts, glassware, books, trinkets, etc. (sorry we do not accept electronics or televisions) at the garage (behind the thrift shop). Please stop by during hours of operations or you can call the Parish Center and make an appointment to drop off your donations at your convenience.
Thank you for thinking of us when cleaning out your closets or getting rid of "things" you no longer use or wear. We are also a great place to donate clothing when a loved one has died and would like their clothing to go to a good cause.
Thank you for being a part of this important ministry in our church here in Newton, where we take seriously the Lord's command to: "Clothe the naked" (Matthew 25:36).
