"No More Second Collections"

In May of 2016, Father ST sent a letter to all parishioners asking them to participate in the "No More Second Collections" Collection which will in essence, do away with almost all* Second Collections on the weekend.  Each family is asked to donate a minimum of $100 once a year and this amount will be used to pay for the following donations previously taken up during the church's fiscal year:

1.) The Beacon
2.) Catholic Communications/Catholic University/Black & Indian Missions (July)
3.) World Mission Sunday (October)
4.) Catholic Home Missions (November)
5.) Catholic Schools Week (January)
6.) Church in Central and Eastern Europe (February)
7.) Campaign for Human  Development (April)
8.) Peter's Pence/Holy Father (May)
9.) South American and Latin American Missions/Catholic Relief Services (June)
10.) Father's Day Collections/Seminarian Education (June)
11.) Winter fuel consumption and plowing expenses

This special collection will NOT include the following:
1.) Assessment (Project Faith) due to the diocese
2.) Mission Cooperative (August)
3.) Retired Religious of the Diocese (December)

"Free will" offerings will taken up from time to time depending upon any special or unforseen events in our community, the diocese or around the world.

PLEASE NOTE: This does NOT include the Bishop's Annual Appeal (which is taken up in September comes directly from the bishop's office).
