The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (R.C.I.A.) is a three-step process for adults wishing to become a Christian Catholic, whether you are un-baptized, baptized in another religious tradition (e.g. Lutheran, Methodist, Episcopalian, etc.) and are thinking about becoming Catholic or were baptized Catholic, but need further instruction or initiation in preparation for receiving the Sacraments of the Holy Eucharist and/or Confirmation.
Do you have questions about God?
Are you searching for more meaning in your life?
Are you suffering and looking for hope in your life?
Is God calling you to become a Christian? A Catholic? To return to Church?
Do you want to learn more about your faith?
In the R.C.I.A. Faith Formation Program, where "All Are Welcome," you can have a chance to tell your story, learn about becoming a follower of Jesus and receive the sacraments of the Catholic Church.
The program is both a personal journey toward God and a journey of the faith community that leads to a transformation of mind and spirit. Guided by the Gospel and by the examples set by church members, everyone can find a place in the community of believers.
Sessions begin in September and continue through Pentecost.
There is no pressure. The process is entirely voluntary. You can decide to stay or leave at any time. If you think you might be interested, contact Deacon Tom Zayac at 201.317.6306 or email him at: [email protected] for more information.
